Simplicity 2271; ©1947; Women's Overblouse: The overblouse is gathered at the front shoulder and fitted with tucks at the front and back waistline. Styles I and II feature a rippled peplum which is shaped in front and dipped in back. A high, round neckline and long sleeves finish Style I. Buttons, in Style II, trim the front and a V neckline and short sleeves finish the blouse. Style III features a hip-hugging peplum, bow-trimmed V neckline and short sleeves.
