Simplicity 2853; ©1949; Misses Pedal Pushers and Shorts: Soft pleats and darts fit the waistline of the slim pedal pushers and shorts. The waistband fastens with a button at the side opening. Turned-up cuffs at the lower edges and slot pockets at the sides are featured. Style 1 is below-the-Knee length and has belt carriers to hold a purchased belt. Style 2 comes to just above the knee. Styles 3 and 4 are shorts but Style 4 omits the turned-up cuffs.
