McCall's 9809; ©1969; Misses' Vest Set and Scarf with Transfer Monogram: Sleeveless, lined vests in long or short length and scarf. Short vests have backs sewn to shaped fronts that extend toward back over normal shoulder and side seams. Vests may be made from fur, or nay be trimmed with regular and baby rick rack, or have novelty leaf trim. Longer vest, fitted by princess seaming in front and back, is interfaced and has lined patch pockets sewn on shaped fronts. Left pocket is monogrammed.Short vest is trimmed with rick rack and long vest are closed with self fabric loops, included in right lining seam, looped over buttons sewn on left front. Either vest is worn with contrast scarf which may be monogrammed. Transfer and instructions for monogram are included in pattern. 19 pattern pieces plus transfer.
