DO WE SHIP WORLD WIDE?
Yes! We certainly do, we combine shipping to save our customers on the postage fees. We have shipped to almost all parts of the world.International customers are very welcome, we ship worldwide and for very reasonable rates. For our Canadian customers, you pay the same shipping charge as our American customers.

IS IT SAFE TO ORDER?
Yes! We have a shopping cart for your shopping convenience as well as a secure server for your credit card information. We do respect customers who are still not comfortable with the internet, thats why we offer a telephone number. You may place your order, submit it and phone us to provide your credit card number.

WHEN WILL I GET MY PACKAGE?

We do not have our staff during this pandemic to help keep a safe environment, it is just the family working,so shipping can take up to 10 business days before your order is shipped PLEASE be patient regarding delivery timeline, we hold no power over the postal systems which are all warning shipping will be delayed due to covid. We usually ship within 3 business days but sometimes it can take longer due to the volume of orders we receive. Because we are a small company it does take time to process orders and we work on business days (Monday to Friday). So shipping from the time you place your order can take from 1 to 10 business days before your order is shipped. Regarding delivery times, although we have no power over postal systems, we have found that most orders are received within a week for North America, for our International customers it can be 6-14 days depending upon the location. We have been very surprised that our UK and French customers receive their packages in 6-8 days. If you need it quickly, please let us know and we will try to do our best .

For your shopping convenience we have our own search engine, if you are looking for a specific pattern just type in the pattern number. If looking for your size type in your bust size, because the different pattern makers did not have standard sizes until about the late 1960s. So going by your bust size ensures you are getting the proper size.
DO YOU KEEP WISH LISTS?
Yes! Feel free to register the patterns you are searching for and we can see if we have any of the patterns in our vast unlisted inventory. If not we will alert you as soon as we do get it/them in.
DO YOU HAVE LAYAWAYS?
Yes! We offer a Lay-Away plan. It is extremely important to read and understand the Layaway Plan agreement.

DO YOU HAVE A STORE FRONT?
No, not for the patterns. The patterns are strictly an internet business. Although the charge will appear as THE INCURABLE COLLECTOR, on your credit card statement, The Incurable Collector was the name of our Art and Antiques Gallery.
As is the tradition with fabric and pattern stores selling sewing patterns, we do not take returns, all sales are final, as almost everything we sell is easily duplicated or reproduced. Also we cannot be held responsible for sensitive time delivery, we hold no power over the postal system as to how quickly they deliver.
We do not refund for buyer's remorse nor for lost packages. In the rare event if your package is lost we will be happy to try to trace the package or provide you with a shop credit-no refunds since we can provide proof of shipping.
In the very rare case if a pattern is missing a piece/pieces we will provide a shop credit only if you alert us of this situation within 3 days of receiving the pattern . Unfortunately a few people had abused our return policy, since patterns can be easily copied. Please understand this.
We will be happy to answer any questions! We are always happy to work with our customers so the purchase is an enjoyable one.
No cash refunds are available for Gift Certificates.
MAY I CANCEL ?
If an order is cancelled before its shipped out, a restocking charge of 35% will be assessed on the purchase price, the shipping/handling is not refunded, this helps us absorb the cost in tying up desirable inventory and initiating the process such as our employees taking the time removing the pattern/s from our inventory, packaging so it will be ready for shipping, labeling the package , having our employees take the time to relist the item/s, merchant services fees-it costs us to process credit cards and we also get charged to refund a credit card purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: sewing patterns may have tears or rips that we may have not detected. We attempt to remove pins from patterns, however, we may not always detect a pin or two in our patterns. Be careful for pins when opening patterns.
DO WE PURCHASE PATTERNS?
We are only interested in true vintage patterns, to us vintage is 1950s and earlier. An exception is for Vogue, Vogue Couturier and Vogue Paris Originals, those we purchase up to 1970s.
We do not wish to make offers, please e-mail us letting us know approx. how many patterns you have, what era's and makers and what you would be happy to get for them, you are the seller and must have an idea of what you would wish to get for them. Digital images would be preferable to give us an idea of what type of patterns you have. Images of groups of patterns is okay since we can still determine what kind of patterns you have. If we come to an agreement, then we will pay for the shipping.
